Tips To Create An Ad That Converts

Ad creatives are one of the best ways to boost an ad campaign and to gain more leads. No matter whether you’re using an image, HTML, Carousel, or video-based ad, your creative should be catchy enough to capture the attention of your audience.

Many people underestimate the value of a powerful ad creative, which is one of the major reasons that their ad campaigns fail to reach the target. Let’s have a look at some of the things that matter the most in creating an ad that works.

Spy on your Competitors:

Have you found your competitors already? if no, you need to find and track their ads on a daily basis. Once you have noted what works for them, you can also copy and paste the method directly in your campaigns instead of reinventing the wheel.

Use Ad Library:

If you’re using Facebook for ads, you should use their built-in tool called ad library to find out what your competitors are doing; it’s a great tool to find your competitors in any particular niche. You can use the Adlibrary helper extension as well if you want to track them for a long time.

Use Proper Dimensions:

Proper dimensions are a great way to optimize the ads, many people ignore this basic rule and try to create the same creative for different networks which is not a good idea. You must use some tools such as Canva to create the ads according to the dimensions set by the publishing networks.

Use Good Copy:

Most ad networks prefer little text on the pictures, which is why you should use a catchy copy that is concise, and that converts better. Try to convey your message with a minimum number of words.

These were some ways to create an ad creative, what’s your opinion about them, please don’t hesitate to let me know in the comments section.

Great advice. Another tip is to have your ad text copy match phrases on the landing page in order to increase your “Ad Relevance” which usually lowers your cost per click.
