How to Use the Keyword Golden Ratio to Rank Higher in SERPs

When you start a new website (with no domain authority and no backlinks), it is challenging to rank for competitive keywords. Well, that is not the end of the world? In this post, I share tips on using Keyword Golden Ratio (KGR) and why you need to use it.

KGR is a data-driven method of discovering keywords that you can easily rank for. Ideally, you are looking for keywords that are overlooked and have minimal competition. There is even a formula for finding these keywords!

You do not have to be good in mathematics to master the trick of finding KGR keywords. Just divide the number of “search results” by “monthly search volume (MSV), provided MSV is less or equal to 250.

Now, this is the breakdown for you:

Less than 0.25 – these keywords are good to go

Between 0.25 and 1.00 – give them a try

Above 1.00 – do not waste your time

Why Use KGR Keywords

When building websites, most webmasters go for competitive keywords. As a result, they tend to overlook less competitive keywords that can still bring traffic. It is possible to rank for these keywords within days without building backlinks.

If you want to stay motivated by quick SEO wins, then you can try KGR keywords. I recommend you use https://app.kwfinder.com/.
