Each year coNEXA produces 10,000,000,000 litres of recycled water (ie renewable water) for industrial, agricultural and residential use. We are pleased to advise that from 01 January 2025, two of our largest recycled water schemes – Kooragang Water and Willunga Basin Water – will be 100% powered by renewable energy. Our customers have a deep understanding of their water footprint and appreciate the security that a climate independent source of recycled water provides. Many of these customers are also on the path to achieving carbon neutral status through their own direct purchase of renewable energy.

The carbon footprint of Kooragang Water was largely offset when the scheme was initially created through the planting of ~300,000 trees.
